Have started using this chippy in the past month and it has fast become a favourite of ours! Patties are by far the best I've had in Hull and although I haven't tried the fish yet from what I've seen whilst waiting it will be well worth the wait! Portion size is amazing, price is most definitely friendly on the purse and the service is always great!

First time using this chippy and definitely my new favourite place. 2xJumbo fish and chips with 2 sides absolutely beautiful and skin on fish which I love. Would highly recommend and great value for money. Thanks so much for the pattie bites

Had a bit of a wait but as it was cooked fresh we didn't mind. Food was lovely especially the chips and peas. Looking forward to trying the corned beef fritters next time. Lady serving was nice and friendly

Tastey food especially the chips not too greesy and not too dry also not to expensive and afordable, very cheep I would rather go to the The Frying Pan fish than rather go to East Park fish and chip shop.

The Frying Pan is a nice traditional fish and chip shop. There is an extensive menu apart from fish and chips. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the shop is spotlessly clean. The fish is cooked fresh to order and is very nice. The patties are very light and fluffy with just the right amount of Sage, larger and cheaper than a lot of patties i have had from other shops. These are definitely the best i have had.

Very Freindly staff. Fish was amazing and with the skin on, chips was fantastic peas and curry was amazing plus they put a little extra in for me some pattie balls and when I tried them It brought back memories when I was a kid because they was just like the pattie butties I used to get when I was young. I've tried all the chippy's down holderness Rd and for me this one is the best. The quality of food you get for the price is unbeatable.

Wow amazing, have deleted last review as the experience I've just had is is 100% better. Everything cooked to perfection. Fish (haddock) beautiful large white flakes of fish and as requested it had been skinned. Nice plump chips, and decent mushy peas. Had it delivered, came well wrapped and still hot. Got free gift due to money spent. Well worth it. Definitely use again. You've certainly upped your game. Well worth the money. Keep up the good work. Price spent does include delivery charge + had jumbo haddock.

Lovely food all cooked to order whilst you wait, staff are friendly and welcoming. I use this chippy every Friday my husband and son love it.
